Kasie has a love affair with anything paper, especially tissue. She loves pulling them out from the box, lick it, eat it and gives big smile as though she has struck lottery. Or she will quietly sit on your lap and while you let down your guard, she grabs a tiny-weeny piece of tissue from your hand. That too, she is happy. A victory for her.
So, I decided to keep empty tissue boxes and stuff it with (washed) fabric scraps so Kasie could play, munch, chew, gnaw with them instead. This is a cheap, green and free(!) toy.
Tip: You can include fabrics of various textures e.g. leather, cotton, sequins for more sensory play.
Love,
Lil.
